About the Business
We have been teaching piano and flute locally in Leicester for several years. We teach people of all ages and abilities, using a teaching style built on encouragement, improvement and enjoyment. We have a 100% pass rate, so you know you're in good hands.
Students can logon to our new moodle site from home to get access to online resources to support their learning and practice. The site contains useful information, worksheets, quizzes and games about music theory as well as duet parts and backing tracks to support home practice.

Flute Lessons
The flute is a versatile instrument used in many genres of music including classical, jazz and popular music.
Curriculum
Lessons are adapted to meet the needs, aims and interests of each individual. Lessons usually consist of:
- Learning correct and relaxed finger, hand, arm and body posture.
- Studies to improve technique such as embouchure control, finger technique, tone, intonation and expression.
- Classical, Baroque, Romantic and Modern repertoire.
- Musical terms, music theory and the history of music.
- Listening exercises.
- If you want to perform in public, preparation for festivals and recitals as a soloist.
- If you want to take exams; graded exams may be taken with Trinity Guildhall. Alternatively performance only (Leisure Play) exams are available through the London College of Music.
