From our fantastic, newly renovated studio complex in the heart of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, we offer professional tuition in Guitar, Drum kit, Bass, Piano/Keyboard, Recording Studio techniques and Vocals.

With some of the countries best musicians teaching for us, we guarantee you'll be playing along with your favourite songs, forming your own bands or passing your grades in no time. All lessons are fully graded and our syllabus works inline with the official examining boards such as Rockschool and Guildhall. Lessons are available seven days a week! We have also just started a CHOIR! This is the newest and best Choir in the area, so if you are interested in joining the Progress Jewellery Quarter Choir, we offer a free first session. Drum Lessons

Drum Lessons

Our aim at Progress is to provide the highest level of professional Drum tuition. All drum lessons are conducted in one of our purpose built private studios on a 1-2-1 basis.

The drum lessons will follow our structured syllabus which is an amalgamation of all the different official grading systems (Rockschool, RGT,LCM, Trinity, Guildhall) and if you require, exams can be taken to achieve grades in the normal way. Your progress will be constantly monitored by your tutor and Progress Music Academy and will be adjusted and tweaked along the way to tailor you with the most appropriate learning pattern.

All drum equipment will be provided by Progress Music Academy. Grade books will be available for all Progress members.

All equipment will be provided by Progress Music Academy, although Guitarists are usually expected to bring their own Guitars. We can provide a Guitar for you with prior notice. Grade books will be available for all Progress members.
