OrffUK promotes the Orff Approach which is a way of teaching based on the essential relationship between Music, Dance and Spoken Word. Rhythm and improvisation are fundamental elements in the approach which holds the intrinsic view that we are all naturally musical. If you are looking for practical and creative training, and resources to support your work as a Teacher in Early Years, Primary or Secondary, an Instrumental Teacher, a Community Musician, a Speech and Language Therapist, a Headteacher, a Nursery Nurse, a Teaching Assistant, or a Parent, this approach will be of interest to you. We offer training courses, expert advice in professional development, and support for creative projects in schools or other organisations. Our courses are practical, with opportunities to learn through composing and improvising with words; dancing; singing and playing instruments. We also provide online resources including teaching videos and audio recordings.
