North Wales Music Tuition Charity was established in 1989 by the Founders as Colwyn Music Studios and was based in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. Later a second Tuition Centre was opened at Rhuddlan, near Rhyl, Denbighshire and the organisation was renamed to North Wales Music Tuition. Six years later in the year 2000 the 3rd centre was opened at Garden City (near Queensferry) Flintshire.

In November 2009, a 4th Centre was acquired in Wrexham and formally opened in January, 2010 followed by our latest Centre launch at Abergele in Spring 2013. On October 4th, 2002, the organisation was successful in becoming a registered Charitable Unincorporated Association and in April 2014 was upgraded to a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). Our services are being constantly upgraded and developed by our Board of Trustees. These volunteers offer their skills, expertise and experience in order to help give a thorough and professional service.

NWMTC is pleased to offer quality, regular Piano Lessons at all our Tuition Centres.

Piano Lessons are available on a 1-2-1 and Group basis. All experience levels, ages and Classical / Contemporary styles are catered for. Examination preparation is available for all Major examination boards. All our Centres provide on-site Acoustic and Exam-Grade Digitial Pianos for the use of our pupils.

At North Wales Music Tuition, we are proud to state that since we were established 27 years ago, we have provided 1-2-1 music tuition services of the highest standard to thousands of pupils across North Wales; many of whom have become professionals in their chosen field. During this time, our teachers have overseen the success of thousands of examination entrants, including those for industry recognised qualifications.

NWMTC is pleased to offer quality, regular Guitar Lessons at all our Tuition Centres. Guitar Lessons are available on a 1-2-1 basis. All experience levels, ages and Classical / Contemporary styles are catered for.

Examination preparation is available for all Major examination boards including Associated Board (ABRSM), London College of Music (LCM), Trinity College of London (TCL) and RockSchool boards. All our Centres provide on-site amplifiers and foot stools for the use of our pupils. Acoustic and Electric Guitars are available through the Charity's Instrument Loan Scheme for the use of our pupils.
