Lee Kenny has over 25 years of experience playing the guitar and 10 years teaching. After achieving a BA (Hons) in Popular music & Music Technology at Derby University, Lee went on to become a full-time private Guitar tutor and later started up the Guitar School Northampton.

Lee has most recently played with The Stolen Sons. Having played in numerous bands over the years and covering different genres from acoustic blues through to dance music, Lee is able to teach various contemporary and traditional styles of guitar playing including, heavy metal, rock, blues, and folk. Lee also offers lesson through Skype.

In 2012 Lee was accepted on to the board of examiners for the Registry of Guitar Tutors and is experienced in preparing beginners, intermediate and advanced players for RGT examinations with a 100% pass rate.

Professional Guitar Tuition, For All Ages & Levels

One 2 one tuition for guitar, singing or drums are available at various times 7 days a week. We offer a free 30-minute starter lesson to all new starters.

To ensure your experience of learning at the guitar school is effective we recommend lessons are taken weekly or fortnightly on a regular day and time. We also run a monthly booking system. If you would like to work on alternative arrangements please feel free to raise the subject with us and we’ll do our best accommodate your requirements.

We also have a 48-hour notice policy on cancellations. Once a one to one lesson is booked and confirmed, we must have 48 hours notice on any cancellation in order to carry the lesson over to another day and time.
