We are the only music school in the area that is partnered with and located above a music retail store. Our students have special privileges such as discount equipment, accessories and even instrument rental.

All our rooms are kitted out with only the best equipment particularly when it comes to pianos. All our piano students get to use upright pianos for their lessons.

In terms of graded exams, we have a very desirable 100% success rate. The overwhelming majory of our students receive merits and distinctions.

As mentioned before our students are free to take advantage of one months free instrument rental from our friends at the Foulds Music shop. This applies to all our taught instruments including pianos. Should you wish to continue renting after the first month, you can certainly do so at extremely competitve rates you won't find anywhere else.

Piano Teacher.

Elissa Devins:

Elissa has been playing the piano from the age of five years old and is now an expert in her field with her talents including singing and woodwind instruments. Elissa has a special talent for teaching and is capable of helping complete beginners and more experienced players. Excellent with both young children and adults of any age. A very popular teacher of ours often with a waiting list!

Victoria Bonham:

In 2014, Vicky gained a Distinction in the Guildhall Artist Masters programme at the Guildhall school of music and drama in London. Studying with Laura Roberts and Rolf Hind. This was after her graduation from the Birmingham conservatoire with an Honours Degree. Vicky is an excellent teacher with young children and adults alike.

Guitar Teacher.

Sam Truby:

Sam is the owner of Foulds Music Academy as well as a seasoned guitar teacher. He studied guitar performance and music business at the Academy of Contemporary music where he was trained by music industry professionals such as Mike Casewell (Brian May band) and Jamie Humphries (Lick Library).

Martyn Blair:

Martyn has been teaching and playing all guitar types for over 15 years all throughout the UK. He is capable of teaching all popular styles of music and caters for those just starting out the guitar as well as those wanting to take advanced examinations. Along with teaching he regularly performs with his band Oobleck!
