About the Business
After obtaining the B Mus degree [with distinction for both Piano and Singing as Practical Majors], Dana did the Higher Diploma in Education. He then went on to obtain the B Mus Honours [cum laude] and M Mus [cum laude]. Research towards his Master's degree in the UK was made possible with grants from the Ernest Oppenheimer Memorial Trust Fund of Anglo American as well as the Haggie Trust Fund.
Dana's vocal mentors were: Prof. George van der Spuy, Ms Sarie Lamprecht [South Africa]; Prof. Erik Werba and Prof. Hanno Blaschke [Germany], John Bacon and Dr. Jane Manning OBE [UK]. Apart from his performances as a singer and ability as pianist, Dana also composes, arranges and teaches music. He has also been involved as a choirmaster and musical director for many years.
