I'm a professional musician, classically trained and have over 20 years experience teaching from home and in places of education. I provide the most effective tuition available for the acoustic guitar and you can learn how to play Rock, Blues, Folk, Pop, Rock & Roll, Progressive, Country, Modern, Classical, Traditional, Latin or Spanish styles of music.

Unlike the guitar tuition where you just strum chords or learn one method, I will show you how to play the instrument correctly right from the start and you will learn all the skills to reach a higher level of playing. Step-by-step you will master finger-picking, chord progressions, rhythms, scales, timing, melody, harmony, lead, riffs, correct finger positions and improvisation. I will also teach you how to play your favourite songs and create your own music. If you wish to study music as a further educational subject, grade exams are available in both theory and practical.

Over the last decade or so the ukulele has become popular with all age groups and there has never been a better time to learn. Take lessons and you will quckly develop the techniques to transform your playing including finger-picking, chords, rhythms, scales, melody, harmony, chord progressions, timing, correct finger positions and improvisation.

You will also learn to play a large choice of songs and how to create your own music. The ukulele is a great instrument to play solo, as a duet and with other players in a ukulele group. They are portable, versatile and not expensive to buy.
